Germany,
the current world-cup holders and they are looking to win their first European
championship in twenty years. Can they do here in the EURO in France??? Can
they bend over??? Here is squad profile of team Germany.
So
what about Germany??? What can we say??? The world-cup holders and they are
simply a strong team, always had been, always will be. Germany always turned
out tough teams. They have won the competition before in 1972, 1980, 1996 and
they will be desperate trying to win it this time, particularly they are the
world champion.
They have qualified with a record of
- Win : 7
- Draw : 1
- Lost : 2
Right now they have reached number 4 in the world.
Germany had a great qualifying losing two games along the way including one to
the close rival Poland. We have lots of old Gods retiring like Klose,
Mertesacker. They truly have to rethink whole squad.
Some of the key player in German team seems to get a
little bit older. Schweinsteiger had bunches of injury this season at
Manchester United and guys like Sami Khedira as well. All they are the force as
once they were. Mesut Ozil will still be in there. But it’s going to be mixture
of senior player and youth that Germany hopes would get them right to the
final.
So what about Germany coach? Well he is Joachim Low,
a standout amongst the best German coach ever. Joachim low LED strip car to
German cup glory and the European cup final before coaching a few different
clubs. He then accepted an offer from Jorgen Klinsmann to be his right hand man
for Germany and the rest is history. He took the reins after 2000 world-cup and
won the World-cup in Brazil eight years latter. He’s simply a top coach.
Who are the players to watch??? We’ll watch out for
Julian Draxler. He truly played well for Wolfsburg in the championship league
this season. He has always had the talent we’ve always heard about him but it’s
time for him to stand up and he might just do it in this tournament. Germany’s
star man is Thomas Muller of Bayern Munich is a top striker. He has got
excellent goal scoring record for both club and country. Muller has scored nine
goals in nine qualifying matches. He can be devastating in attack. A
considerable measure of time you look on him and he looks unamusing however
don’t make that for you.
Goal from Mustafi and Schweinsteiger ensured a
winning start to Germany against Ukraine in group division league. I think it’s
fair enough to say we clearly see this team winning this group. And if they do
top in the group they are likely to face Slovakia, Austria, Island, Romania in
round of 16. They should breeze through that and breeze through quarterfinal.
They are likely to face France in semi final. That is going to be direct shoot
out for final place.
Can
they get to final of the EURO 2016 and win it simply as they did it in the
world-cup??? I think they can. I think they are the unquestionably one of the top
picks. I think that you could see Germany in another final. Whether they win it
or not we’ll have to see…
